National Young performing at the Asian Championship U-18

Surabaya -Indonesia's National Youth Basketball Teams will take part in the Asian Championship U-18 in Mongolia. See the candidates their opponents, Real Madrid target not pompous.

In preparation for this tournament, Young national team have undergone centralization practice in Surabaya. They set out to Ulan Bator on Tuesday (14/8/2012).

Terry Young, managed jointly by PT Detection Basketball Cross (DBL) Indonesia and Perbasi, incorporated in Group C alongside Taiwan, Bahrain, and Mongolia. The best three teams will qualify for the next stage.

The first game to be played by a Young national team was against Taiwan in Ulan Bator's Central Sports Hall, Friday (17/8/2012). Taiwan is not opposed to considering their status as mild ranked third in the previous edition, two years ago.

"Taiwan is now of course a different Team with two years ago, when they achieved third place. However, they remain one of the pre-eminent champion. We have to work extra hard if you want to beat them, "said head coach Terry young, Nathaniel Canson, in a release received detikSport.

This is the first time Indonesia took part in the Asian Championship U-18 after being absent for 17 years. The last time Indonesia appeared in 1995 when the tournament was held in Manila, Philippines. At that time, Indonesia ranks eighth.

"Of course we want to achieve the best results for Indonesia. Moreover, the sacrifice has been given by all major players and officials, who had to leave during the holiday Feast with family to compete here, "explains the Director of PT Indonesia and CEO Terry DBL Young, Azrul Ananda.
